This is subject to adjustment based on what interests emerge once the group is assembled, but at least it's a structure for us to hang things on.

Arrival: 9:00am to 9:45am
We have the room beginning at 9am, and we're in the same building as a great Northampton cafe, so this is time to get settled, caffeinated, and oriented. I'll have nametags prepared for everyone on the DjangoDotJuneAttendees page. If you've looked that page over I'm sure you've already identified some people you'd like to talk to!
Welcome and talks: 10:00am to 11:00am
I'll give an overall intro, then we'll have some short talks. Five-minute lightning-style talks are fine! Please e-mail me if you're interested in presenting some facet of your work with Django.
Small groups: 11:15 to 12:30
Here's a chance to break out into a few smaller groups based on what you're doing, or would like to be doing, with Django. Ideas for groups:
- Django Newbies (we love you)
- Integrating Django with legacy apps
- Strategies for high-traffic sites
- Re-using and sharing Django applications
We'll have a a signup of some sort available at the beginning of the day.
Lunch: 12:30pm to 1:30pm
There are lots of great places to eat in Northampton. We don't have the excellent online reference material of, say, Lawrence, but here's one list. And don't forget that the Woodstar Cafe, in the same building where we're meeting, is great too.
Hacking and Demos: 1:45pm to 3:45pm
Personally I'll be itchy to do some coding by this point. For people comfortable working on the framework itself, it could be fun to pull out some pending but not-too-gigantic tickets from the Django Trac and go at them collaboratively. Or do some testing of active branches. For others, this could be a good time to prototype new ideas, or work on an existing site, in an environment where lots of feedback is available.
Hell, create a whole new site and we'll all upmod it when you submit it to Reddit!
